Dr Monalisa Monwar | Lecturer | Varendro University | Bangladesh

Dr. Monalisa Monwar is a pharmacy researcher and academic currently serving as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Molecular Pathology Laboratory, Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS). She received her PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Rajshahi in 2025 and has more than a decade of teaching, research, and academic experience, including service as Head and Associate Professor of Pharmacy.

Her research interests encompass pharmaceutical biotechnology, proteomics, pharmacogenomics, tissue engineering, drug discovery and development, and clinical pharmacology. Her research includes work on pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery, pharmacological evaluation of medicinal plants, antimicrobial therapeutics, diabetes, and clinical pharmacology. She has published peer-reviewed research in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences and has presented her work at national and international scientific conferences.
