Our Great Team
PhD in Biomedical Science, with five years of research experience in drug delivery and breast cancer. My expertise entails cell culture and transfection of mammalian and cancer cells, drug delivery and drug testing assays, gene therapy, bio-imaging (fluorescence and confocal microscopy), and mouse models (tumour regression and metastasis inhibition). I have over four years of experience with molecular and immunological assays, including PCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting, FACS, ELISA, and Immunoprecipitation. My research interests include unravelling novel cancer biomarkers and their molecular crosstalks with tumour microenvironments to identify novel anti-cancer therapeutics. I am an independent, curious, hard-working, problem-solving, and positive-minded person. Currently serving as Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Applied Data Analytics, in collaboration with Wohllebe and Ross Publishing, Germany
My passion is to develop novel nanomedicine solutions for breast cancer treatment, which drives my PhD research and graduate research assistantship at Monash University. Under the supervision of Prof. Md Ezharul Hoque Chowdhury, I focused on delivering small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) against growth factor receptor genes using surface functionalized multi-cations carrying carbonate apatite nanoparticles.
I have acquired multiple skills in academic research, qualitative research, qualitative data, pharmacology characterization on and fabrication of nanoparticles, UV/Vis spectroscopy, cell culture, cell-based assays and, and working with siRNA, proteins, and animal models. I have also received the Tropical Medicine & Biology Multidisciplinary Scholarship, which covered my tuition fee and stipend. In my previous degrees, I gained valuable experience in HIV treatment management and barriers in Bangladesh's context, where I explored the role of government and NGO interventions.
Experienced Professor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Bioinformatics, Protein Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, and Cell Culture. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused in Molecular Biology (Genetic Engineering) from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
